About The Opportunity
Driven by helping the people you work with to realise their full potential...?
We have an opportunity for you to help develop the training & learning systems needed to support a major people-development change in our organisation.
You consider yourself an expert completer-finisher in robust, scalable training design programmes that truly capture and shape how learning happens. This opportunity has strong coaching & mentoring elements; we want someone who really understands how to help our people learn. You will spend your time partnering with our talented workforce, conducting learning needs analyses, designing a range of both site-based and learning based programmes, linking into our succession planning and helping to make learning agile and accessible for everyone who works for Careys.
You will be applying your technical expertise around virtual learning environments (online and offline), webinars, podcasts, webex, social media and the building of resource libraries - planning, mapping and managing the development & progression of our people and identifying top internal talent via the Carey Academy.
We want all our people to feel Carey Group is one of the best places to work in the world - by investing in the learning of our workforce today, we ensure our succession plan for the future.
This will initially be a project-based role taking an 18-month transition view - helping shift our talented workforce from where we are today, to a better place for tomorrow. Beyond this stage in our development, there will be a long-term opportunity for continuing helping us evolve.
There are some unique 'nice to have' benefits of working in our beautifully refurbished and trendy head office:
- Free car parking space
- Staff gym
- Superb on-site restaurant (a place to socialise!) with subsidised lunch
- Free breakfast
- Everybody smiles
- Opportunities to be involved in some impressive team charity fundraising initiatives through the Careys Foundation
... not to mention our brilliant 'FlexiCare' flexible benefits scheme, where you can buy and sell holidays, access taste cards, childcare vouchers and much more.
We cultivate innovation - encourage ideas - nurture a sense of belonging - challenge the status quo.
We do things differently.
