Our Assistant Engineers support our growing projects by assisting in designing, developing and executing programmes of work. They also work with our Project Managers in reviewing project specification and in preparing project plans as well as working closely with the engineering team

Responsibilities

In alignment with the Carey Way and Careys Health and Safety system, SHED (“Safe Home Every Day”), the Assistant Site Engineer will:

· Interpret technical information

· Assist with surveying and setting out

· Assist with inspection and testing of materials

· Participate in Golden Hour workforce engagement initiative

About You

You will possess a Higher level qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Structural Engineering with M.I.C.E – desirable/ AMICE / IEng. You will also possess CSCS / IOSH / SMSTS.

You will be highly organised, with an outstanding collaborative work ethic.

We are looking for candidates with a strong civil engineering background including roads, draining, groundworks, concrete frames, and utilities.
