Last month saw award success for Scudder Demolition at the annual National Considerate Constructors Award ceremony. The team took home Bronze for their excellent efforts delivered at the Ford Dagenham site.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme’s National Awards are one of the most admired accolades within the UK and Irish construction industry. They recognise Scheme-registered sites, companies and suppliers that have demonstrated the highest levels of consideration for their local community, environment and workforce. Scudder have been undertaking works at Ford Dagenham as principal contractor since 2016, demolishing and remediating the former Stamping and Tooling Operations plant.

This award-winning project is a credit to our team and an exemplary indication of the way we invest in setting up and running sites in a manner that minimises impact to local communities. Our team has really gone the extra mile, taking local students from the local Marsh Green primary school on a tour around the site, fundraising for the Richard’s House Hospice and taking a local boy with Asperger syndrome around the site to demonstrate the techniques we’re using.
