ION Environmental was contracted to deliver works at the London School of Economics (LSE) on their student accommodation facility at Carr Saunders Hall. This complex job required the development of a tailored solution to enable works to be safely carried out within a live environment.
Upon receipt of the surveys issued by our client we initiated overnight and weekend working to enable rapid completion of the works with minimal disruption to the live campus.
Regular communication was essential to delivering works within this live environment, with adaptations to the programme carried out as the need for additional works was uncovered.
We coordinated the work of a specialist scaffolding contractor to deliver works whilst accounting for the requirements of our client. We carried out works within restricted space conditions under the main structure.
