A key member of the Operations Board, Simon is instrumental in creating effective learning environments and innovative people development solutions across all businesses within the Carey Group
Right now I think it feels a little different across the Group. Sites and projects seem to have a very clear and defined purpose and system of operations; support functions are equally committed to our strategic vision but perhaps at times feel a little distanced from the core business. Both are quite focussed on the here and now. Both are clear that our people are the key to our success.
Changing mindsets to enable people to step out of the day to day whirlwind now and again, to make time to help themselves and others to learn, so that we can get better every day.
Careys is a really good company with some fantastic people. Yet I believe there is still a huge amount of headroom. If we can unleash the real potential of all our people we can become a truly great company.
