Happy New Year from the entire Careys team! We’re thrilled to kick-start this new year which holds special significance for us. 2019 marks our golden 50th anniversary, an opportunity to celebrate our history, see just how far we’ve come since our humble beginnings in 1969 and look ahead to an exciting future.

We already have a series of exciting celebrations underway. We have begun sharing project and company news across the Group, featuring snippets, insights and first-hand accounts that illustrate our growth and the evolution of the industry since we first began.

From our first large-scale contract in 1971 at Graheme Park Estate, Hendon, involving the construction of 1,800 homes and flats, we’ve since gone on to achieve more than we could have ever imagined. Our impressive track record includes contributing to the delivery of a list of iconic projects and new landmarks, such as the V&A museum in Dundee, Principal Tower and The Royal Opera House.

Our commitment to excellence in all that we do is deep-rooted and stems from our founders, who have always insisted that we offer exceptional delivery standards and strive towards the highest levels of client satisfaction. We began with these principles 50 years ago and they still lead and inspire us to this day. Since 1969, we’ve never stopped learning and growing. This continual desire to learn and make all things #bettereverday has been a central factor in helping us to maintain our high standards and keep our promise to consistently deliver excellence.

In 2019, we will commemorate our company history, a proud story that symbolises and sums up our culture and ethos. Additionally, this year and going forward, our exceptional teams will ensure that we continue to achieve and exceed our objectives each and every day.
