Here at Careys Foundation we are excited and proud of the efforts and contributions from site teams in and around local communities surrounding our construction projects.
Careys Civil Engineering’s One Nine Elms and March Arch teams have partnered with Evelina London Children’s Hospital to raise funds to continue the great services they deliver to children and adolescences across south London and south east England. Combined, these two projects have set a fundraising target of £25,000 and we are confident through their dedication and efforts will reach and exceed this.
To facilitate this further, last month a dedicated team of 12 from both projects rallied together to take on the annual Tough Mudder - London West Challenge to raise money for the hospital. The team completed a 13-mile obstacle course that included running, ice baths, electric shock therapy and climbing over walls. Exceedingly tough for the team, although notwithstanding they took on the challenge with great energy and motivation.
To continue raising funds, the teams are planning various activities to take part in over the coming year. If you would like to donate towards the team’s efforts, please click here.
