On Friday 12th January 2018, the northern region of Careys Civil Engineering held a Black-Tie Ceilidh event at the Hilton, Glasgow in aid of Careys Foundation. Over 200 were in attendance including clients, suppliers and Carey Group employees.

The evening was Scottish themed with haggis served for dinner, a reading of Robert Burns' Tam O'Shanter and a performance from Scotland's leading rock Ceilidh band Bahookie. In addition to the Scottish themed entertainment, there was an auction and a raffle. There were a number of exciting lots up for grabs ranging from European getaways, spa breaks and a South Africa safari to helicopter rides and signed merchandise from Pink Floyd, Cristiano Ronaldo and various Celtic legends to name just a few.

Thank you to all who contributed and the continued support we receive. A highlight of the night was the £17,000 raised for Careys Foundation, which was matched by Group founders John, Tom and Pat Carey to bring the total raised to £35,000.
