About The Opportunity

We are looking for a Project Finance Associate to join our London team in collaboration with Beyond 3. Beyond is entering an exciting phase of its journey, working in collaboration with one of the UK’s leading civil engineering businesses, Carey Group. Careys and Beyond are collaborating on an opportunity to build a fresh and innovative property business that leads the market in the creation of residential led, highly designed and customer focused places.

Purpose of the Role

This is a broad analytical role involved in many aspects of property development financial reporting and analysis for both residential, commercial and mixed-use projects.

  • Assist the team on developing exceptional standards of budgetary control, financial reporting, analysis and governance within the property business
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reports are produced for group finance, supporting them in the production of management and statutory accounts
  • Collaboratively work alongside the development management, finance, commercial and sales teams
  • Production of financial analysis to assist business decisions

About You

  • This role requires an individual with financial/analytical experience of property development with some in-house developer experience being preferable but not essential
  • It is best suited to a very collaborative and motivated person with an ability to work under pressure, responding to varying requirements and recognising different levels of priority and importance
  • High levels of emotional, communicative and social intelligence are required
  • Degree level thinking and/or relevant higher education/qualifications/professional association memberships
  • Part/qualified accountancy accreditation beneficial but not essential
  • Ability to plan in advance, prioritising and managing workload effectively
  • Excellent understanding Microsoft Excel, ability to build simple financial models
  • An inquisitive and curious mindset, seeking to learn and influence financial reporting within a new team
  • Ability to prepare high quality, succinct financial reports
  • Broad awareness of financial appraisal (inputs and output) with support provided by the development team
  • Competence in using a diverse range of relevant systems and technology
