About the Opportunity

Due to continued growth, we now have an opportunity for a HSE Advisor to support and provide guidance, advice and assistance to ensure legal compliance, developing best practice and raising the bar on health, safety and environmental performance to our project and operational team based on a major civils project based in Lincolnshire.

Your role is to create the conditions for our staff to go ‘Safe Home Every Day’.

About you:

Ensuring the professional advice in supporting the departmental responsibilities for the provision of strategic health, safety, environmental and sustainability support to company management and staff, to monitor compliance with statutory requirements and help consistent implementation of policies, procedures, company standards and guidance and the Carey Way.

You will be an ambitious and capable health, safety, environmental, sustainability and quality professional, leading by example, with bags of energy, enthusiasm and ability, who is keen to take the initiative. You will demonstrate the ability to drive a positive culture change relating to all health, safety, environment, sustainability, quality and training issues, with the determination to improve our existing standards.

Your role will primarily be to conduct pro-active and re-active monitoring of our projects across the Group, to safeguard our employees and to significantly improve the Group’s Health, Safety, Environment, Sustainability, Quality and Training performance and achieve ‘Safe Home Every Day’ in all that we do.

About You

Required Experience

  • NEBOSH Diploma.
  • Grad IOSH essential.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrable Construction experience.
  • Exceptional relation building and influencing skills.
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office.
