Q&A's

We pride ourselves on being honest, courteous and reliable, treating each other and all those around us with respect, creating a one team approach.

We adopt a collaborative approach to our client relationships, delivering high quality products and services that respond to our customers’ needs. Satisfied customers drive long term value and repeated business.

BDL is a business with a broad and diversified customer base. We are committed to understanding our customers’ needs through ongoing engagement and collaboration. When we understand our customers, we can deliver high quality outcomes that meet their needs, creating a strong value proposition for our clients.

The industry wide roll-out of BIM, tackling skills shortages, assisting the wider use of apprenticeships, encouraging new entrants to the industry and the changing environmental / BREEAM regulations are all game changers to what we do in the construction industry.

The below points assist us in securing and delivering projects.

  1. Our investment in off site manufacture has allowed us to recruit and train people specific to our company needs, allowing us to manufacture to exacting standards within a controlled environment, with product assembly and services installation QA checked and tested for compliance prior to despatch.  This delivers an enhanced quality product for our clients.
  2. We have invested in BIM 3D modelling, offering this as standard to our clients.
  3. Our ability to manufacture offsite reduces the number of deliveries to the construction site, consequently reducing packaging materials on site, less site waste materials and a reduction in the number of site operatives required. We are FSC Certified with all our timber based materials and packaging coming from sustainable resources.

8 Finsbury Circus was a satisfying project for me, we delivered 11 levels of commercial bespoke washrooms, manufactured off site to an exacting standard and to a very high specification.
