Tim is Managing Director of BDL Dry Lining and joined the business in 1990 having previously gained 18 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in private practice and local government.
As Managing Director, Tim has responsibility for all commercial and residential projects across the business. Tim is passionate about BDL’s approach to business and is immensely proud of his team’s commitment to working in a collaborative manner whilst delivering projects to the highest safety and quality standards.
We're a very positive company. We try to have a 'can-do' attitude to our work and support our entire team to excel in their roles. We've got a very longstanding group of core clients and key players in the team - some of our staff have been with us for 20 years or more, which I think is a good reflection of the strength of our culture.

We work closely with our suppliers and tradespeople to make sure that we always present a high-quality, reliable outcome for our clients.
Anyone that knows the construction industry will know that we're facing an acute skills shortage and have been for several years. Our team has invested heavily in new talent - graduates and school leavers - to make sure that we have a solid pipeline of skilled employees for years to come, but it's a real challenge to attract people to the industry. We try to overcome this by making our sites as attractive as possible, by paying a good wage and making sure that the working environment is as good as it can be.
