Q&A's

We are a very team-based unit, with a willingness to help and support each other, share best practice, help each other out when things are difficult and always looking at ways to improve and innovate. We are always willing to give people an opportunity and nurture and guide them.

Having the right project manager and team with the level of experience required to manage the different types of contracts we are involved in is key to success.

I also believe that by visiting sites, being aware of progress, clients' requirements and meeting and showing visibility to our clients on a regular basis demonstrates the importance of their project to us and that the senior team are fully involved in the running of their project.

Once BIM modelling is fully implemented, this will force clients to engage in specialist contractors at an earlier stage than they currently do.

It should also afford the opportunity to implement lessons learned and be more involved in sequence and processes.

The skills shortage along with the possible restrictions on labour movement is also a major concern which could prevent future growth and therefore retention of an experienced workforce and increased opportunities for training will be essential.
