Introduction to Careys Foundation

Careys Foundation is a registered charity (No. 1159819) and was established by the Carey Family in 2010. The foundation aims to raise funds and provide support to UK and Ireland based charitable causes; this includes contributions towards sustainable research and development, environmental educational, construction industry development, care, charitable and community-driven initiatives. It creates a forum to expand and deliver these activities, not just for today, but for tomorrow and for generations to come.

We’re proud to have recently supported key initiatives across the UK including:

Granting Wishes and Making Dreams Come True

We’re currently working with The Dream Factory, a fantastic charity which aims to grant wishes and make dreams come true for children and young adults who have life threatening conditions or severe disabilities. As part of our work we are creating a garden that is accessible and secure for Caoimhe, a 5 year old girl, who is suffering from a brain tumour and is now on palliative care. The garden will make all the difference and help Caoimhe improve the quality of life that she needs as part of her treatment.

Youngsters Boxing Clever

The Careys Foundation supports the Colchester Amateur Boxing Club with funding specifically used for the purchase of new kit, new equipment and club events. Recently the club have purchased TV and camera equipment to allow the youngsters to watch events back and see where the coaches want them to improve.
